Daytime/Volunteer opportunities
For students with special needs who are unable to pursue post-secondary education or seek competitive employment, other options are available including a range of daytime activities and volunteer programs. Although most of these programs do not have a paid work component, they offer many other rewards for young adults.
These programs typically require a fee for participation. Often this will be split among the family, Medicaid funds and the St. Louis Regional Office.
