SSD's Communications Department earned seven national awards from NSPRA, including a prestigious Golden Achievement Award and five Awards of Merit. The honors recognize the team's efforts to inform, engage, and connect with students, families, staff, and community partners through strategic communication, marketing, writing, photography, and video production.

North Tech Construction Trades Instructor Patrick Hanneken was recently recognized with the Emerging Leader Award at the Building Tomorrow Awards, hosted by Construction Forum, in honor of his decades of dedication to preparing the next generation of construction professionals.

South Tech Design & Entrepreneurship instructor Albie Mitchell has been named the 2026 Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE) St. Louis Teacher of the Year.

Northview High School held its annual Talent Show featuring over 20 acts showcasing students’ singing, drumming, piano, and dancing skills.

On the final day of their senior year at South Tech, 14 carpentry students were recognized during a Signing Day celebration marking their commitments to regional construction and skilled trades employers after graduation.
