Joy Voss and Rachael Blake, Vocational Skills Program instructors at the SSD Learning Center, received the Innovative Technology Grant from the Innovative Technology Education Fund (ITEF).
In celebration of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), Special School District has created social posts featuring our Vocational Skills Program (VSP) students at various sites throughout the county learning different tasks that are needed at their organizations.

Austin Gipperich, senior North Tech and Hazelwood Central High School student, has been selected as a 2024 Outstanding Student Leader by the St. Louis County Government Department of Human Services.
Elise Townsend, 11th-grader at Hazelwood West High School, has partnered with Ackerman School to renovate the school’s garden.
