    May 12, 5PM to 8PM, 2022 Salutes Awards and Retirement BanquetSSD is proud to celebrate our amazing staff and partners during our annual Salutes Awards. Our awards honor the teachers, paraprofessionals, District staff, and community members who support us in realizing our mission and stand out in their positions. 

    As always, our group of 10 Key to the Classroom winners are exceptional, and the many nominations received made the final selections challenging. Our Teacher of the Year will be chosen from the winners of the award who chose to apply. Watch for the announcement in mid-April!

    We are also celebrating our 10 Building Block award winners from our talented and caring paraprofessional staff, and 10 Lasting Impression winners recognizing staff across SSD who are known for their dedication and willingness to go above and beyond for students and colleagues.

    Finally, we are honoring 4 Special Ambassadors, each of whom provides extraordinary service to SSD. As the largest specialized education provider in the state, our success relies heavily on the many community organizations, businesses, and industries that lift us up with their support.
