Vocational Skills Program (VSP)

  • The Vocational Skills Program (VSP) is for students who have completed four years of high school, but who require extended programming to develop the skills needed to move toward successful post-secondary goals related to employment. Participation in extended programming is an Individualized Education Program (IEP) team decision.

Students in VSP are fully immersed into the business setting and no longer attend a traditional school. VSP offers a continuum of experiences that continue to build the general work behaviors and soft skills needed for entry level employment in a “first” job experience. VSP collaborates with Vocational Rehabilitation and local community rehabilitation providers to transition students into adult employment supports as they approach graduation.
