Admissions Criteria

  • The following prerequisite chart should be referenced when applying for Tech to determine a student’s eligibility. Because acceptance is ongoing during the school year, the entry requirements shift to ensure applicants remain on track with their core graduation requirements.

Tech is a competitive entry school. All applications are scored against a rubric that considers a student's grades, attendance, and behavior record. Acceptance rounds are held throughout the year beginning in October and students can follow their application status through our EnrollTrack portal.

Because North Tech is the career and technical education provider for all high schools in North County, early application is strongly encouraged.
