SSD Board Of Education Proclaims Dec. 5-9 as Inclusive Schools Week

The Special School District of St. Louis County (SSD) Board of Education approved a proclamation at its Nov. 15 meeting designating Dec. 5-9, 2016, as Inclusive Schools Week.

Inclusive Schools Week is celebrated annually during the first week in December by schools, organizations, families and communities around the world. The week highlights and celebrates the progress that schools have made in implementing inclusive practices.

The Board’s proclamation encourages schools and classrooms across St. Louis County to sponsor appropriate learning and community-building activities in recognition of Inclusive Schools Week.
