With a commitment to student success through evidence-based practices and continuous improvement, the Autism Leadership Team is dedicated to ensuring quality practices, building capacity, and providing equitable access to evidence-based resources and support.

The mission of SSD's Curriculum team is to increase stakeholder knowledge and implementation of research-based best practices in teaching and learning in order to maximize student learning in SSD special education and career and technical education schools and programs.

The Instructional Coaching team partners with educators to meet their professional learning needs through evidence-based coaching practices that foster teacher growth, strengthen instructional effectiveness, improve student outcomes, and build collaborative relationships. Coaching support is focused and aligned within three key areas: Universal Supports, Classroom Learning Systems, and Priority High-Leverage Practices for Academy Special Education teachers.

The Social Emotional Behavior (SEB) EPS team exists to increase student social, emotional, learning, and growth by working collaboratively to provide culturally responsive support to teams. We accomplish this through problem-solving, providing resources, and increasing educator implementation of best practices for students with lagging SEL skills.

This team empowers paraprofessionals by providing ongoing support, training, and recognition for paraprofessionals so that they have the tools and skills necessary to increase student achievement and independence.
