As we start our school year with online learning, here are some important dates you will need to know about. We look forward to seeing you on August 24 for the first day of online learning!
You may pick up technology including computers and hotspots on Thursday, August 20, from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m. at Northview High School. You may also come to Ackerman from 4-6 p.m. on the same day.
The second day of technology pickup is Friday, August 21, at Northview High School from 8:30-11 a.m.
Northview is located on the same campus as Ackerman, at 1520 Derhake Road, Florissant, MO.
Please access the SSD Parent Portal to complete student enrollment and give permission for online instruction. If you have already completed online registration, please visit the portal again to give consent for virtual instruction.
Meet-the-Teacher Night is scheduled for Thursday, August 20, from 4-6 pm. At this time, families may pick up technology and drop off or pick up any school supplies that are needed for virtual learning. Families may schedule a Zoom meeting with teachers or come through our circle drive to receive school supplies or drop off supplies to staff who will be waiting outside the building.
Online learning schedules are being created by teachers. Schedules will be shared with families before the first day of school. Student schedules will contain the links and times for Zoom meetings with teachers and related service staff. We will also have instructions for families on how to use Google Classroom to access online learning materials and Zoom to access online meeting and instruction.
