Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Training Program
An 8 week non-credit program prepares individuals for a position as a CMT.

Abbot EMS/American Medical Response (AMR) EMS Academy Apprenticeship Program
Abbott EMS/AMR is presenting a paid training program to become a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
EARN WHILE YOU LEARN!! Abbott covers all tuition, books, and fees. After completion of training employees are required to remain employed by BJC HealthCare for one year and must receive their NREMT license within 6 months in order to qualify for full reimbursement.

BCI Skills Center
People with disabilities can accomplish amazing things—and careers are no exception. That is why BCI established the Skills Center, a first-of-its-kind vocational training facility for people with disabilities in St. Charles, St. Louis, and surrounding counties.
Upon graduation from the Skills Center, students move directly into the competitive workforce where they work alongside non-disabled individuals, earning the same opportunities, responsibilities, benefits, and pay.
Located in St. Peters, Missouri, the Skills Center is a 501c3 nonprofit offering tuition-based training. Student tuition expenses are typically covered entirely or in large part by scholarships and supplemental state agency support.

Building Union Diversity (BUD) Program
The BUD Program offers apprenticeships in the construction trades for persons with no construction experience.
Requirements for participation:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Age 18 or older

CyberUp Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program
CyberUp’s LevelUp course trains candidates in foundational IT concepts and in-depth cybersecurity best practices. The combination of technical, soft, and critical thinking skills’ training prepares participants for the rigor of an in-demand cybersecurity role. CyberUp connects ambitious job seekers with opportunities to jobs in cybersecurity through a unique apprenticeship model.
There are three tracks for candidates:
- Pre-apprenticeship program for those in need of further development of their workforce readiness skills
- Level 1 course for those with some career experience
- Level 2 course for those already possesing some IT job experience or training

Easter Seals Midwest Project Search
Project SEARCH is an internationally-recognized skills training program dedicated to helping young adults with disabilities obtain jobs with community businesses. Over nine months, program participants will develop important work skills within a community business. Young adults will learn through classroom instruction, career exploration, and hands-on internships. Project SEARCH supports and prepares these young adults for successful community employment.

Offered by Gateway Global American Youth & Business Alliance Academies Inc. in partnership with St. Louis Community College
Learn how to use cutting edge technology to solve local, national, and global issues. Current apprenticeship tracks:
Geospatial Technician
Completion of this pre-apprenticeship training leads to earning stackable credentials and qualifications for the Geospatial Intelligence Specialist Registered Apprenticeship program.
Network Technician
Completion of this pre-apprenticeship training leads to stackable credentials and qualification for the Network Security Apprenticeship program.
Robotics Technician
Completion of this pre-apprenticeship training leads to stackable credentials and qualification for the Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship program.
Our STEM-based apprenticeships are facilitated by our corporate partner, Gateway Global Data Logistics Co.

MERS Goodwill Skills Training
The primary focus and success of MERS/Goodwill’s employment and rehabilitation programs is in our ability to prepare people for the world of work. To be successful on a job involves having sufficient self-esteem and self-confidence, meeting the challenges of one’s personal life and being able to deal with the complexities of interpersonal relationships with co-workers and supervisors, as well as being able to perform the actual work tasks. MERS/Goodwill provides the opportunity to work toward the goals needed to achieve the maximum level of productivity in one’s personal life and employment.

Paraquad Culinary Training Program
This program prepares adults with disabilities for a career in hospitality. In the 15-week training program, taught by a certified culinary instructor, students learn: sanitation and food safety, knife skills, cooking and baking, and customer service.
After the training program, Paraquad helps graduates find jobs. Students may complete a paid internship prior to job placement to build additional job skills.

Pre-Apprenticeship Tactical Training School (PATTS)
The St. Louis Carpenters Joint Apprenticeship Program (CJAP), The Mid-America Carpenters Regional Council (MACRC), and area Signatory Contractors support the PATTS program. Participants of PATTS will gain “tactical” skill sets, during their three weeks of intense hands-on training. PATTS will provide a graduate with realistic survival skill sets for day one of employment on the job. This will enable our signatory contactors to fill carpenter apprentice positions with PATTS graduates, starting as first term apprentices in the construction industry. Successful PATTS program graduates will be required to complete all one hundred twenty hours of intensive job site training and conditioning to graduate.
PATTS Program Requirements
- 18 years of age
- Reliable Transportation day one of PATTS
- Drivers License
- Pass Drug Screen day one, possible random Drug Screen through duration of PATTS Program
- Work in exterior elements of cold, warm, hot/humid sunny exterior conditions
- Bring Lunch, (no leaving for lunch) Sports Drinks, change of clothes.
- Long White Carpenter Pants/Elbow length shirt (no tank tops or shorts will be allowed)
- Hard sole work boots (No athletic shoes allowed)

St. Luke's Internship Program
The St. Luke's Hospital's Paid Internship Program gives individuals who are 18 years or older, diagnosed with a developmental disability and reside in St. Louis County; the opportunity to participate in short-term internships throughout the hospital network. Individuals will get a chance to learn crucial job skills and workplace expectations, all while earning above minimum wage.

Total Access EMT Apprenticeship Training Program
The mission of Total Access EMT it to empower others to provide kind, proficient and effective care in every community. This program is designed by top-notch medical professionals who have worked as first responders in the military, on ambulances and in hospitals. Utilizing their combined experiences and best practices, the Total Access EMT program will prepare you for your National Registry EMT (NREMT) exam and an exciting and fulfilling career as a licensed EMT.
