Special School District will begin the 2022-23 school year with in-person learning following federal, state, and local recommendations. SSD will continue to monitor COVID-19 and other related data to ensure we make the best decisions possible to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff. However, COVID-19 mandates and recommendations are ever-changing as additional information is shared by our local and state health departments and state and national regulatory agencies which, in turn will change our community’s practices. 

The District is committed to your children and understands the tremendous responsibility we have to serve our community. Returning to in-person learning requires all of us to move forward together using recommended best practices and maintaining safe daily habits to reduce our risk of exposure to COVID-19. Remember: we’re all in this together!
