    St. Louis County Back to School Immunization Program

    July 13, 2021 - The St. Louis County Department of Public Health (DPH) is offering an extensive back to school immunization and vaccination program, beginning Monday, July 19. DPH will offer no-cost immunizations for children aged 3-18, and free COVID-19 vaccinations for ages 12 and up. No appointment is necessary. Students are asked to bring a copy of their shot records with them.

    July 12, 2021 - On June 15, the Missouri Department of Social Services (DSS) announced that in conjunction with DESE Food, and Nutrition Services (FNS) they will again issue Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) benefits through the Missouri’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) EBT card system to households with eligible children.

    June 24, 2021 - The SSD Board of Education approved Chantal Chandler as the new Marketing Administrator and Janaca Scherer as the new Communications Administrator, during Tuesday night’s meeting. Chandler and Scherer will begin their new roles in the SSD Communications Department on July 1.

It is a day of recognition, restoration, and celebration of African American freedom and achievement, while encouraging continuous self-development and respect for all cultures. SSD solidifies our commitment in standing in solidarity with all students, staff, and community members who have experienced hardships, mistreatment, or harassment due to the color of their skin. We honor and recognize the contributions that people of color have made today and throughout history.
