AF – Accountability/Commitment to Accomplishment
Because it is accountable to the patrons of the district, the board will maintain a program of accountability that will help to accomplish the following objectives:
- State clear expectations and purposes for all district operations, programs, departments, and job positions.
- Provide necessary resources and support to enable the professional and support staff achieve stated expectations and purposes, subject to the financial resources of the district.
- Evaluate district operations, programs, services, and instructional activities to determine how well expectations and purposes are being met.
- Evaluate the efforts of all district employees, and of the board itself, in accordance with stated objectives. The personnel evaluation process will be designed to help each individual make a positive contribution to the goals of the district as well as to assess individual performance.
The superintendent will implement procedures to ensure continued progress and improvement of district operations through a program of meaningful evaluations and assessments including compliance with annual district-wide reporting requirements set forth by law.
