Asbestos Notification

In compliance with the U.S. EPA Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA), as outlined in 40 CFR 763.93(g)(4) of the Federal Code of Regulations, building occupants must be notified each year about the presence of asbestos-containing materials and the availability of the Asbestos Management Plan.

A copy of the Asbestos Management Plan is available for review in the school office or at the Special School District of St. Louis County’s Facilities Department, located at 700 Fee Fee Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043. This plan provides detailed information about the types and locations of asbestos in the building, as well as inspection records, sampling results, and any response actions taken by the District.
