Student Discipline

In support of SSD’s mission and vision, staff and students actively promote responsible behavior through intentional instruction, consistent practice, and positive reinforcement.

Information about an individual student’s discipline is part of the student’s confidential education record. SSD protects the privacy of student records and does not share information about a student’s disciplinary history or actions with outside individuals or organizations except when authorized by the family or eligible student, or when disclosure is otherwise permitted or required by law. This means SSD generally cannot provide information about disciplinary action involving a specific student in response to questions from members of the public, media, or other outside parties.
