Title IX and Non-Discrimination

SSD does not discriminate on the basis of sex in any of its educational programs, activities, admissions, or employment practices, in accordance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. While the District prohibits all forms of sex-based discrimination, Board Policy ACA specifically addresses incidents of sexual harassment as defined under Title IX that occur within the District’s education programs and activities.
