It’s a Sign: You should learn sign language basics

St. Louis has a large deaf and hard-of-hearing population, which means your opportunity to meet someone who uses sign language is increased. You do not need to be fluent in sign language. Any effort to supplement communication with basic signs is greatly appreciated by the deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
