Located in Crestwood, Missouri, Southview educates students 5 to 21 years with a range of disabilities. Students attending Southview live in several nearby school districts: Affton, Bayless, Hancock Place, Lindbergh, Mehlville, portions of Parkway and Rockwood, Valley Park and Webster Groves with educational diagnoses of developmental disabilities, autism and emotional disturbance.
The Southview School community prides itself on the accomplishments of the students it serves. It is through the celebration of each individual student’s self-determination in meeting their personal goals that our mission to assist students to become independent, responsible, productive citizens and to reach their personal potential is achieved.
It is the belief of the administration that the participation of the entire educational team is crucial. Staff members, parents, and students are involved in making decisions that impact students. Collaboration strengthens the structure of the school and increases the quality of instruction.
