    Mark Twain Award Nominees

Southview students can help decide who wins the Missouri Association of School Librarians (MASL) Mark Twain Award for the best book! Anyone who reads or listens to four books from our collection of nominated books can vote for their favorite. Then, in March, we will be watching for the announcement of which book wins and plan a celebration for everyone who votes.

Copies of the books are in the library. They can also be accessed through SORA, in either print or audio versions.

    GREAT NEWS!

SSD now has access to Sora!! Sora provides students quick access to thousands of popular kid-friendly eBooks and audiobooks. Students can read or listen to the books on a computer, tablet, or mobile device while they are in the classroom or at home. Everything is automatically returned, so worries about keeping track of the items.

Also, Sora can connect to St. Louis County Library and students can borrow their materials without a separate library card. Check it out!

You can find directions to log-in here.  Please contact me for help with this wonderful new resource.
