North Tech CISCO Students Stacking Certifications

April 9, 2024 - North Tech's Networking Academy students are excelling in earning CISCO certifications, demonstrating that while challenging, success is well within reach! Last week marked a significant achievement for several of Elkins' scholars as they proudly attained new credentials to enhance their resumes.

Notably, one student became the first in Elkins' 25-year teaching career to secure certification during their junior year, swiftly followed by another. Juniors Connor Freebersyser of Hazelwood West and Teran Shannon of Acellus earned their CISCO Certified Service Technician (CCST) - Networking certification. 

Additionally, seniors Gabbi Rumfelt from Pattonville, John Meyer and Dominic Vaz of Ritenour, Kamrin Williams-Washington of Hazelwood Central, Paul Guest of Riverview Gardens, and Anthony Clark from Pattonville also achieved their CCST-networking certification.

Adding to the impressive list of achievements, John Meyer, Kamrin Williams-Washington, Gabby Rumfelt, and Paul Guest have earned their CCST - Cybersecurity certifications, showcasing their commitment to advancing their career prospects.

These certifications open doors to lucrative, in-demand careers without needing a four-year degree. Graduating high school students with these certifications can pursue a college education or entry-level positions with substantial salaries, often supplemented by tuition reimbursement programs.
