SSD Celebrates Pride Month
June 14, 2021 - SSD recognizes the valuable contributions of LGBTQ+ individuals across America. We are proud to stand as allies with our LGBTQ+ students, staff, and community members, and recognize their ongoing struggles against discrimination and injustice. As part of our ongoing equity work, SSD has committed to the following action steps in the coming years:
- Ensuring a system is in place that is equitable, in which we embrace and value the individual and acknowledge the differences that make each person unique,
- Continuously transform the climate in a positive way for all District stakeholders,
- Creating a system that allows for long-term impact of educating globally skilled and engaged citizens, no matter their differences.
