Greetings Neuwoehner Students and Families-

It’s hard to believe that Spring is nearly upon us! We had a busy February at Neuwoehner, including our Valentine’s Day Dance and our first annual Night at Neuwoehner event for families. There are MANY things happening in our school community during the month of March. Please take some time to review the important events on our calendar.

Ms. Duke, our new assistant principal, is officially with us full-time. She is getting to know students and staff. We are so excited to have her as part of our school community!

Parent/Family-Teacher Conferences are Thursday, March 16, starting at 4:30 PM. Please look for information from your student’s teacher(s) and service providers to schedule a ten-minute conference about your student’s progress. If you need additional time, consider scheduling a longer meeting on another date. School IS in session on Friday, March 17.

Applications for Extended School Year (ESY) were mailed to families last week. Please return these to school – even if your student does NOT plan to attend – so we are able to route buses and ensure staffing.

Neuwoehner’s Spring Break is March 20 – 24. Students return to school on Monday, March 27.

There is a PTO meeting tomorrow evening (Thursday, March 2) via Zoom at 6 PM. We will update on prom and start preparations for Staff Appreciation Week which is in May. If you are unable to join us but have questions or would like additional information, please email or give me a call.
